David "Chip" Reese won the $50,000 buy-in H.O.R.S.E. tournament at the 2006 WSOP and took home an impressive $1.8 million in money prize. A total of 143 players participated in the H.O.R.S.E. tournament that combined Hold'em, Omaha, Razz, Stud, and Stud Eight or better into a single event.

The final table of the H.O.R.S.E. tournament was filled with some of the biggest names in poker, including two-time WSOP World Champion Doyle Brunson, 1993 WSOP World Champion Jim Bechtel, Phil Ivey, and T.J. Cloutier. A testament to the caliber of the final table is the fact that the players that made it that far had a combined total of 27 WSOP gold bracelets. Commenting on his victory, Reese stated: "It was anybody's ballgame, but I won the match. It was special to win because all my friends wanted to win it too."
