Padraig Parkinson and Pacific Poker Team Up

July12Wednesday

By Eric Luu

Padraig Parkinson has agreed to write a blog relating what is going on at this year's WSOP directly from the Rio Casino in Las Vegas. The blog also discusses his day-to-day experience over there, including his many discussions with cab drivers!

In addition to writing a blog for Pacific Poker, Parkinson also lead a two-day training camp for Pacific Poker's European Women's Poker Team, which participated in the 2006 WSOP Ladies Event on July 9th, 2006.

Known as one of Ireland's best poker players and recognizable at the poker table by his outgoing nature, Parkinson is considered by many as Ireland's best hope for this year's Main Event. His poker achievements include a third place finish at the 1999 WSOP, a European championship, a victory on Late Night Poker, many Irish championships, and four "in the money" finishes in WPT main events.
